Ensure your existing station remains functional with a 4G Upgrade Hardware kit. For additional assistance, including service appointments in the Netherlands and Belgium, consider the 4G Upgrade Service kit.

To upgrade your G3 station, reach out to your reseller or installer. If you require our Field Service Partner to handle the upgrade, or if you do not have a reseller, place your order directly with us.

2G and 3G networks will cease operation in several countries as follows:

Netherlands: Q4 2025

Belgium: 2028

Norway: Q4 2025

For specific dates in your region, consult with local network providers. Note that communication issues will occur only when both networks are fully discontinued; stations will function normally if either network remains active.

The following EVBox stations are at risk if they lack a 4G ChargePoint (modem):

Generation 2 (G2) and Generation 3 (G3) PublicLine, BusinessLine, and HomeLine models without 4G capability.

How Can I Determine My Stations Generation?

Check the ChargePoint model prefix:

G2: Starts with G2- (e.g., G2-M908)

G3: Starts with G3-’ (e.g., G3-M5320E-F2642)

New EVBox Livo and Liviqo models, as well as all G4 EVBox Elvi v.3 stations and BusinessLine G4 models, come 4G-ready. Specific G3 BusinessLine stations with the following product codes are also pre-equipped:

The 4G Upgrade kit is available for BusinessLine G2 and G3 stations that lack 4G capability.

After placing an order, you will receive a quotation for approval. Once approved, delivery is expected by Q4 2024. For installations in the Netherlands or Belgium, expect delivery by December 2024, followed by scheduling for the upgrade service in early 2025.

Yes, upgrading to 4G ensures future compatibility with 5G networks.

Upgrading your station grants a one-year warranty on replaced parts. The warranty on the existing station and unmodified components remains unchanged.
